Explore Rainbow Mountain by ATV | Ride Through Magical Landscapes

Our thrilling journey to the Rainbow Mountain in all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) begins with the pickup of tourists from their respective hotels between 3:35 and 3:50 a.m. We then embark on a scenic drive in our tourist transportation for approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes to the town of Japura, situated at 4200 meters above sea level. We arrive at this charming location around 6:20 a.m., where a delightful buffet breakfast awaits us.

Following breakfast, our guide will provide the necessary instructions to kick off our adventure on the all-terrain vehicles, heading towards Qosqopata, which stands at 4900 meters above sea level. The ATV ride typically lasts about 1 hour, followed by a 35-minute hike covering a distance of 1.5 kilometers to reach the viewpoint of the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain, towering at 5038 meters above sea level.

At the Rainbow Mountain, we'll have ample time to capture the best photos, as we'll be among the first to arrive, avoiding the tourist crowds and taking advantage of the perfect moment to snap pictures, record videos, and marvel at the natural beauty of the vibrant colors.

After our visit, we return for approximately 25 minutes to the spot where we left the all-terrain vehicles, then hop back on our ATVs and make our way back to the town of Japura, where a delicious lunch awaits us. Following lunch, we begin our journey back to Cusco, with an average arrival time of 3:30 p.m., thus concluding our thrilling adventure at the respective hotels.
